OneTwo has proven an amazing feat during their 2007 reunion tour. Instead of simply reviving an already successful group, which created immensely popular west coast inspired funk-pop music in the eighties, this Danish band shows how 20+ years of musical experience results in a superior performance when back on the stage today.
The abundance of professionalism emitted in every set, take the songs to a new level - and clearly enjoyed by both band members and the audience. It's almost impossible to not quote one of their great songs: "Getting Better".
Fronted by Caecilie Norby and Nina Forsberg's masterly skilled vocals, OneTwo's original band members also include the brilliant composer Soren Bentzen (guitar), the savvy Rune Harder Olesen (percussion) and Henrik Schou Poulsen (bass).
Today, the band is completed by the excellent Lars Daugaard (drums) and Martin Sommer (keyboards) - musicians who independently have enduring experience from touring with numerous other established bands. |

As an audience experiencing a live performance of OneTwo, revisiting the songs released back in '86 and '90, such as "Billy Boy", "Hvide Løgne" (White Lies) and "Den Bedste Tid" (The Best Time), you're guaranteed an astonishing nostalgia nouveau raised to a new level by these outstanding musicians.
There is simply no doubt OneTwo will continue to please their devoted fans and newcomers alike for many years. |
